Every year, Q2 provides financial institutions (FIs) with comprehensive industry updates and networking opportunities during CONNECT, its annual client conference. This year, Q2 shifted CONNECT 20 to a series of events in the digital channel, responding to FIs’ needs of a more flexible schedule, as well as relevant content specific to this unique moment in time.
Q2 wanted to honor the CONNECT 20 award recipients by showing a more in-depth, online spotlight on the incredible accomplishments executed this past year. Winners were recognized for excellence in eight separate categories.
The CONNECT 20 award for Creativity honors an FI that leveraged data creatively to produce highly customized and engaging marketing campaigns to nurture account holder relationships and deliver results.
This year’s Creativity award recipient, First Harrison Bank, was founded in 1891 and serves communities in Southern Indiana and North Central Kentucky. By converting their online banking solution to a newer, more seamless online banking portal, First Harrison elevated their account holders’ digital banking experience.
First Harrison's brand has always emphasized easy banking, but the team wanted to expand the FI’s online banking platform and convert its 19,000 online account holders to the Q2 Platform. They planned to employ the platform to provide a new, easy-to-use solution but also to build a brand that would quickly spark the attention of account holders.
First Harrison decided to brand its Q2 Digital Banking Solution as "Banking Butler,” touting the ease of having a butler take care of account holders’ online financial service needs. This Banking Butler solution takes First Harrison’s service to a whole new level and provides account holders with innovative features and benefits, including state-of-the-art bill pay, biller direct, CardSwap, Cinch Deposits, and more.
Since going live with Banking Butler, First Harrison has converted over 18,000 online account holders, with almost 82% of users logging in using their mobile devices, as well as has onboarded nearly 1,000 new customers. To support these results, First Harrison created a portfolio of creative assets, including new collateral, engaging videos, a registered trademark name, and brand marks.
